As Livestorm is growing rapidly, our Finance team needs help to gain reactivity and implement new projects. Therefore, we are looking for a Finance Intern who is passionate about discovering the startup environment.

As Livestorm's Finance Intern, you will be joining the Finance team (currently 4 people). You will work alongside our Sales Administration Manager and our Financial Accountant. You will report directly to our Senior Finance Manager.

The role involves working on accounts payable (anything that has to do with supplier invoices) and accounts receivables (all that has to do with client invoices). This position is adaptable. Depending on your profile, you may work on accounting entries, dashboards, or administrative tasks.

Livestorm is a remote-first company. As a matter of fact, the member of our Team are located between Paris, Nantes, Ainhoa, Montpellier and Nairobi so we are looking for the best talent, no matter where you live.

In this role, you will:

Accounts receivable management (≈ 60%)

  • Check and report clients payments.
  • List, prioritize and call clients with unpaid invoices (in french and in english).
  • Monitor the ROI of cash collection actions.

Accounts payable management (≈ 20%)

  • Validate employees expenses and monitor team building budgets.
  • Check and prepare payments of invoices and expense claims.

Additional tasks based on your profile (≈ 20%)
Accounting [Optional - if you have accounting training]

  • Accounting entries and participation to the monthly closing with our Financial Accountant
  • Preparation of the VAT statement

Reporting [Optional - if you have MS Excel / GSheet training]

  • Export and shape data to make it accessible
  • Cross and analyse data to make it actionable

Other duties as assigned

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • You are extremely self-organized, rigorous and autonomous.
  • You have good knowledge of Excel (or Google Spreadsheets).
  • You are adaptable to different types of software and have a strong interest in process automation.
    Softwares you will use include Chargebee, Spendesk, Salesforce, …
  • You have an excellent level of both French and English (we have frequent written and spoken exchanges).
  • [optional] If you are trained/training in french accounting (IFRS / FR GAAP), we will adapt your missions to include this.
  • You can work in the CET timezone (we accept +/- 2h of time difference with Paris). 
  • You will need to provide an internship agreement from your school.

Health Plan: - This depends on your State. You will have access to the Platinum plan of United Healthcare or Guardian. (This includes Medical, Dental & Vision insurance + Life insurance) - Livestorm covers 97% of employee fee and 67% for dependents.

Life insurance: $50K worth of life insurance.

401K: 5% employee + 2% company match after 6 months tenure.

Parental leave: 16 weeks for the first parent, and 5 weeks for the second parent.

PTO: 25 days of paid time-off per year.

Compensatory days off: 3 to 4 days depending on your State.
