Head of Sales International

Job description

We just raised our Series A and our main initiative for 2020 is to structure and scale an entire sales team from scratch. We are looking for an experienced sales leader that will expand the sales team, structure our sales acquisition model and grow the sales revenue by 2.5x.

80% of our revenue is done abroad, and a vast majority is done in the North America region. Therefore this role requires a great experience in managing international sales team and a very US-aimed sales pipeline. France is also an important market that accounts for the 20% left and will also be addressed.

The role will be accountable for the sales strategy to meet our expansion goals and coordinating with our marketing, growth, operations & customer success teams to reach pipeline target & new business target. 

You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of the group.

You are a very skilled sales leader within the B2B SaaS domain, having managed team leaders whilst also being a player coach on larger opportunities. You are both driving the business strategy for the market development whilst creating the processes and growth plans to develop the team at every level.


  • Structure and test a sales strategy to reach targets
  • Develop a profitable & scalable sales process across our different target segments (mid-market & enterprise)
  • Hire & grow the team accordingly (headcount is currently 4).
  • Accountable for pipeline generation & new sales
  • Assisting our current enterprise sales lead with bigger deals as we move upmarket
  • Reporting & performance analysis in coordination with founders, investors and marketing
  • Work on tactical plans with team leads to hit monthly & quarterly target
  • Partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success

Job requirements

We are looking for a perfect fit:

  • 4+ years sales XP in SaaS environment targeting from mid-market to enterprise accounts
  • 2-4 years of experience of management
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales leadership with 10+ people
  • Track record of growing sales team by 2x+
  • Deep understanding of the entire sales funnel and cycles
  • Data driven & process-oriented
  • Experience in using Pipedrive or similar CRM and willing to test new process if need be
  • Experience in using Chargebee as invoicing software is a huge plus
  • Fast learner
  • Native English or extremely fluent  
  • Strong ability to coach and bring teams to higher performance standards and hitting targets
  • Proven track record of sustained target achievement
