Team description:

Livestorm is a team of entrepreneurial and driven professionals. The Operations Team (HR, Finance & Legal) is playing a key role in the expansion of Livestorm as we establish ourselves as a leader in the video communication market and expand at an increasingly faster rate. Therefore, we are looking for a Legal Manager with a global vision of the company, with the ability to pitch in as well as setup the Legal Operations for Livestorm's future.

As Livestorm's Legal Manager, you'll be joining the Operations Team to ensure legal compliance across the organization. You'll work alongside our Finance Team and will be reporting to the CFO.

While Livestorm has headquarters in Paris, we are a remote-first company. As a matter of fact, the member of our Operation Team are located between Paris, Montpellier, Bayonne and Amsterdam, so we are looking for the best talent, no matter where you live.

Missions:

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

Working with the Sales Team to negotiate client contracts

• Create & update legal templates (Master Service Agreement, Terms & Conditions, …)
• Negotiate with clients' legal departments when needed
• Make information accessible and empower teams with tools and processes
• Overview litigations

Building and managing the Legal Team

• Manage our GDPR-specialized Legal Associate
• Anticipate legal needs and build a strong Team
• Collaborate with outside legal counsels on technical topics

Manage Legal operations across the company

• Review providers and partnership contracts, be the reference point for all legal questions
• Help setup Livestorm internationally
• Provide strategic opinions on the company's legal needs and supervise legal governance & compliance requirements (anti-fraud policy, code of conduct, …)
  

For this Legal Manager role, we are looking for someone with the following experience:

Essential

• 5 years of professional experience
• Experience in contract negotiation with international clients, including the US
• Experience in management
• Ability to collaborate across teams and be a business partner
• Ability to research legal information and collaborate with outside counsels
• Fluent in French & English

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS / Tech companies
• Experience in fast growing companies / experience building a team
• Experience working with US law / in the US
  

Moreover, we are looking for someone who can work in the Paris timezone (we accept a jet-lag of 2 hours maximum).
