Team description:

As Livestorm is expanding, we are internalizing all accounting processes to gain reactivity and precision. This accounting position is a newly created one.

You will be joining our Finance Team (currently 3 people), where you will work alongside our Sales Administration Manager and will report to our Finance Manager.

The role involves managing the accounting for both the French (SAS) and American (Inc.) entities. Your work will be essential for it will provide the reliable data and necessary in-depth details the company needs to support strategic decision-making.


While Livestorm has headquarters in Paris, we are a remote-first company. As a matter of fact, Stormies are located between France, Germany, Greece, Mauritius, Spain, USA,... so we are looking for the best talent, no matter where you live.


Missions:

In this role, you will do:

Accounting

  • Monthly and annual closing management
  • Entering, checking and paying invoices and expense claims
  • Integration of purchase, sales, payroll and bank entries in the accounting tool
  • Accounting of end-of-month provisions for paid holidays and bonuses
  • Processing bank statements
  • Lettering and justification of third-party accounts
  • Follow-up and accounting of end-of-month provisions FNP, CCA, PCA
  • Maintaining and updating fixed assets ledger
  • Preparation of the revision work file for annual closures

Taxes

  • Preparation, declaration and scoping of monthly VAT returns and quarterly VAT MOSS returns
  • Preparation, declaration and scoping of DES
  • Follow up on international sales taxes
  • Declaration of the CVAE and the tax return

FP&A

  • Weekly revenue recognition report
  • Validate travel expenses and monitor employee budgets
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

For this Financial Accountant role, we are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in an accounting position.
  • You have a good understanding of IFRS / FR GAAP accounting principles (and ideally, knowledge of US GAAP as well).
  • You have advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • You are extremely self-organized, rigorous, and autonomous.
  • You are adaptable to different types of software and have a strong interest in process automation.
  • You have a good level of English (frequent written and spoken exchanges).

Moreover, we are looking for someone who can work in the Paris timezone (we accept a time difference of 2 hours maximum).
